My mother and sister said we needed to open a flower shop that dealt with flowers and plants only. So Gretchen and I opened Crazy Daisy's Floral LLC. We built our first walk in cooler ourselves. We bought a building on the square in Monticello, GA and went to work. After three years on the square we outgrew our space and moved to larger facility with plenty of parking. We have never looked back. We made it through being the only florist in Monticello for 6 years and that included making it through the pandemic. We are a small floral shop, we make quality products for a fair price. Affordable, dependable quality is the moto since day one. I must say I have served this community in aspects of life from happy to sad and would do it all over again. No regrets. Have a Crazy Daisy Day.
Born and raised in Shady Dale, Jasper County GA. It helps to know who your making flowers for. Always try to help civic organizations with ads whenever possible. Make unique items-- creativity is the key to keeping them coming back. Care about the people who spend their money with you. Always remember it's not all about the dollar sometimes you have to do it for nothing just because it is the right thing to do!

Its a one woman show around here these days. I have a few ladies that come in during holidays and busy times. Sometimes the best of friends also make great employees.
I have supplied flowers to our local nursing home for one whole year. I supplied one arrangement to each resident at The Retreat each month. Supplied free red bows to all members of community during pandemic. Placed a holder outside of shop and refilled it daily. I have supplied flowers for Holy week at the local United Methodist Church for several years at no charge. Cleaned off graves after funerals without being asked by family. Given discounts to all schools from day 1. Helped teach work skills to those mentally challenged from the local schools, a group came each week for 1 hour and helped around the flower shop and learned usable job skills. Donated amounts of items for raffles, door prizes, giveaways, auction items etc. I also go out of my way to take care of all my customers... I will go out of my way to make sure they receive their flowers in a timely manner and go that extra mile to see that the family is always satisfied with what they have received
All items I carry in my shop are Made in the USA. I also carry a huge selection of vintage decor, art, linens and glass. The old stuff lasts!
